Biogal-Galed Labs. are happy to announce receiving the USDA permit for the ImmunoComb^® Feline Infectious Peritonitis Virus (FIP) Antibody Test Kit. 

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is a fatal feline disease that is caused by a mutated Feline Enteric Corona Virus. Apart of clinical symptoms, up until now, the only tests that are conclusively differentiating FIP from Feline Enteric Corona Virus are too invasive. The current standard antibody test is an Immuno Fluorocence Assay (IFA), performed routinely in only a few veterinary university laboratories sites. The ImmunoComb^® Feline Infectious Peritonitis Virus (FIP) Antibody Test Kit, manufactured by Biogal-Galed labs. is designed to detect Feline Enteric Corona Virus antibodies and assist veterinarians and catteries in FIP control and diagnosis.  

The ImmunoComb^® test is a modified ELISA, which can be described as an enzyme labeled “dot assay”, that detects antibody levels in serum or whole blood. The kit contains all necessary reagents for developing the test. This kit is approved worldwide and has been used for several years.
